I really enjoyed this place. The playlist was literally what I listened to on my own Spotify. I liked the menu. It was very nice and easy for picking if you didn't want a full meal. The only thing that I thought was not perfect was that although the staff was very attentive, it almost seemed like they were kind of rushing us. The restaurant was not full and we were not ordering just water, so it's not like they were trying to free up space for more patrons but they were very pleasant nonetheless
We had an amazing experience at Gus’ Last Word. The space is wide open with a clean layout and a great atmosphere. It has a relaxed and modern vibe that works well whether you’re coming for lunch or a casual dinner with friends. We started with the corn dip and the calamari and both appetizers were on point. The corn dip was creamy with a nice kick and the calamari was crispy and flavorful without being greasy. I ordered the angus burger and it was hands down one of the best burgers I’ve had in the area. Perfectly cooked with fresh toppings and that buttery bun that just seals the deal. We also had pizza and other burgers at the table and everything looked and tasted great. Fries were golden and crispy just how they should be. The drinks were another highlight. I tried the house IPA with a hint of orange and it was refreshing and unique. The bar itself is well stocked and the cocktail setup looks like they take their mixology seriously. The service was excellent. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and attentive. From the moment we walked in until we left we felt well taken care of. If you are in the area and looking for a solid spot with great food, drinks, and top notch service, Gus’ Last Word is definitely worth checking out.
Recently dined at Gus' Last Word and enjoyed it very much. The Service was very friendly and attentive. The Atmosphere is unique and fun. Ordered appetizers and pizza (regular and Margarita). Looking forward to dining here again and ordering from the dinner section.
Chill and welcoming atmosphere. The space is set up nicely from the bar to the dining area. Service was A1. Had the steak fries, Caesar salad with salmon and BBQ wings. Everything had flavor and was not overboard. I was afraid that I was going to be catfished by the food because the pictures looked really good but it also tasted good. Definitely a spot to revisit when I'm in the area. Old fashion was also great not watered down
A delightful and inviting experience. We visited on Monday where we celebrated my gf birthday, through her sister's recommendation. The space is pleasant, with games to play as a group- including a smaller version of the 90s Nintendo. The backyard is small but cozy. The main star was the food, nothing compared to "bar food" full of grease or pre-packaged fast food. This was well presented, cooked meals in the restaurant style. We plan to return, definitely a
They really done a great job fixing up the place. The ambiance is prefect. Warm and welcoming. We started off with the spinach and artichoke dip. Which was just delicious. Then for our main course we got the fried chicken sandwich jalapeno on it I came in french fries and the Irish grilled cheese. Both were absolutely fabulous. Just delicious. Service was great as well. Water being refilled at the most prefect moments. Drink was strong and delightful. Will be coming back for many more meals.
Really tasty and friendly local bar. A bit loud and busy on a Tuesday night, but a great experience. They were hosting trivia when we went, and seems like a great place to go and get a few drinks, even on a weeknight. Portions were very filling, was stuffed after splitting an entree and appetizer. Will definitely be coming back!
Went to Gus's for the first time yesterday! The Miracle On Valley Christmas celebration is so fun and festive! The staff was friendly and attentive. The cocktails are fun and creative, the food is bar food but elevated ( yum!) The fact that is it also family friendly is a plus! It's not so quiet, making it the perfect place to bring my toddler who can also not be so quiet! The general manager (who is apparently new) came around ,introduced himself and made sure everything was to our liking! Looking forward to going back!
